| CARLOS PACHECO, THE CREATIVE DESIGNER OF 'SEVEN DEADLY SINS' |

Concept Art by Carlos Pacheco |
Geek Toys unveils one of its best-kept secrets
Two safely-guarded secrets have been painstakingly kept by Geek Toys in reference to the launch of “Seven Deadly Sins” until this very day. The first one is that the figure of Lust will remain unveiled for the time being from thousands of fans yearning to admire it. The figure has been labeled by a privileged few as one of the series' best figures. The other secret was the identity of the designer who has devised the characters of the figures which make up the series. Designs which have been used by the sculptor to do a magnificent job.
From today this secret has been unveiled as it has been announced that the highly-talented, internationally-acclaimed comic illustrator, Carlos Pacheco, is the artist behind the “Seven Deadly Sins” series figures.
Carlos Pacheco, who has achieved worldwide recognition as an illustrator for the US divisions of Marvel Comics and DC Comics, is Antonio Barranco's (the President of Geek Toys) personal friend. Pacheco did not hesitate a second in accepting to participate in the project when he received the offer of coming up with the characters of the series.
Pacheco is not only in charge of designing the “Seven Deadly Sins” figures, but also responsible for choosing this particular series for the launch of Geek Toys. When Barranco presented him a series of ideas for different figure series to enable the illustrator to select the one, he firmly believed that this one would be the most adequate for a launch.
In fact, Pacheco was not only responsible for choosing this particular collection as the launch series for Geek Toys, after Barranco had presented him with different ideas, the illustrator selected the one he thought was the most adequate to kick off as a collectibles company. Carlos Pacheco made this decision arguing that this series would have a vast amount of possibilities on the global market, as well as the enormous potential each characters had, as well as the broad scope for creative freedom offered at the designing stage. Obviously, without forgetting the enormous challenge faced, due to the huge difficulties encountered when trying to give the right touch to each and every one of the sin images, something that has been achieved in an extraordinary way without a doubt.
Ultimately, it is worth mentioning that Carlos Pacheco has been supervising the sculpture process of the characters, advising and working closely with the series sculptor, Javier Murcia. When Pacheco had seen the final results, he congratulated Murcia for the outstanding job done and his enormous talent as a sculptor. Lastly, he added, "Nowadays in the action figures market, there are very few series with such high quality and are so highly-detailed as Seven Deadly Sins”. |

GEEK TOYS' "WRATH" FIGURE IS CENSORED BY THE EUROPEAN OFFICE
OF HARMONIZATION FOR THE INTERNAL MARKET (OHIM) |

The Wrath censored. |
This is the first time that this organization has rejected a design due to its "extreme violence"
One of the figures that makes up the new Geek Toys collection and introduction in the collectibles sector has received a negative report from the European Agency in charge of registering marks, drawings and models. The European Office of Harmonization for the Internal Market (OHIM) has approved the registration of the figures inspired in the Seven Deadly Sins which correspond to Envy and Pride, but the model inspired on the sin of Wrath has been rejected because it is “contrary to public order and good behaviour, due to the fact it represents an act of extreme violence which, also, seems to be characterized by schoolchildren (minors)”.
On this issue Antonio Barranco, the president of Geek Toys, has declared that his company avoids this kind of behaviour in real life, but the idea consists of "reflecting faithfully in a line of horror figures for adults the historically classification of certain human vices."
This is the first time in the history of the OHIM that it has decided to reject the registration of a product due to these circumstances. This office has proposed Geek Toys to modify the depiction of Wrath, removing the blood and even the victim. Nevertheless, the company completely disagrees with the decision made by the OHIM, because in the application form it was stressed the fact that the figures are aimed at the adult collectors' market and therefore it is not a traditional toy. Hence, Geek Toys has decided to continue with the launch of the original model considering that without the original elements the "Wrath" figure would lose its
identity.
The rejection of the registration of Wrath has been received by the company when it had just unveiled the launch date of its first figures, a news item that will not cause the postponement and modification of its launch on the collector's market. Manufactured in vinyl and featuring a blister presentation, the first three figures of the ‘Seven Deadly Sins’ collection will reach the international market for the Christmas 2009 campaign. |

| GEEK TOYS UNVEILS "SEVEN DEADLY SINS" SERIES 2 FIGURES |

The Ultimate Sin
| Sloth and Greed can be seen as part of a complete diorama which make up the two series of figures
With the first series of figures of the Seven Deadly Sins on the launch pad, the Spanish collectibles firm, Geek Toys has unveiled two of three characters which will make up the second series of the franchise. The spectacular diorama which comes about by joining the bases of the seven figures called “The Ultimate sin” shows the wasted body of Sloth sitting in a comfortable armchair and Greed depicted as a pale, golden silhouette with a cape which is flapping in the wind.
The figure of Lust is still in the development stage, waiting to be presented. Javier Murcia, the prototype director, has revealed some clues about the ideas he is working on to model the character: "We have been working very quickly and with a lot of confidence on the image of Greed and Sloth, which has given us much more time to ensure the Lust is a really special piece."
“The Ultimate Sin” is completed with Wrath, Pride and Envy, which make up the first part of the collection, and Gluttony, which will be on sale as a separate luxury format.
"All the personnel at Geek Toys are making every effort to ensure that each and every figure of the two series fits in perfectly in concept, shape and colour. The result will be simply irresistable", concludes Antonio Barranco, president of Geek Toys, who is very satisfied with the final product. "The first series is already in distributors catalogues, therefore we shall soon be able to announce that it will be on shop shelves globally", he added |

| MORE THAN 20,000 VISITS IN TWO MONTHS |

Geek Toys Collectibles. |
The GEEK TOYS website (www.geektoyscollectibles.com) has reached the figure of 20,000 visitors after just over two months of its official opening.
Since the end of February when the website started to be fully
operational, hundreds of visitors have been getting access to our site
on a daily basis. A surprisingly high number of collectors have been
able to browse through its extensive content the website offers. The
website's launch series figure images, Seven Deadly Sins has been
extensively visited by users, as well as those who seek more detailed
information on our firm and its products.
Two important facts are worth hightlighting in this sense. Firstly, the
figure of 20,000 visitors has been counted on a single visitor basis,
figures being much higher if we take into account the total number of
visitors registered by our website meter during these last two months.
Secondly, we would also like to emphasize the fact that we have
received over 6,000 queries through our website, both professionals
and collectors in general.Out of the feedback we have received, we
must underline a large number of messages congratulating us on our
launch series, Seven Dealy Sins, as well as an enormous list of
messages asking us about the launch date, in which countries the
figures are on sale, the retail price, the wholesale price, places
where the figures are on sale, etc. Possitive and exciting data which
makes us feel satisfied with the good expectations our products have
caused. Therefore we predict the series will be a great success.
Another significant figure is that we have received visits from almost
every part of the world, the United States being the country with the
largest number of registered visitors with 56%. The US is followed by
Australia, Canada, Spain, Germany, the UK, Mexico, Taiwan and Japan
with a high number of visitors. Nevertheless, countries such as
Italy, France, Greece, Russian, China, Holland, Denmark, Sweden, Austria or
Israel have also registered a significant number of visitors also
deserve to be mentioned.
Last of all, we would just like to thank all the websites dedicated to

THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS INSPIRE THE FIRST LINE
OF GEEK TOYS’ COLLECTIBLE FIGURES |

Seven Deadly Sins: Series One logo. |
The Spanish company burst onto the scene with a series of own license.
Geek Toys, new Spanish company created for the manufacture of collectible figures with own license, has begun its path with a first line dedicated to Seven Deadly Sins defined in the 6th century by the Pope Gregory I, the Great. The first series of this collection includes the cardinal sins of the Envy, the Pride, the Wrath and the Gluttony, the latter in luxurious format.
It consists of an assortment of figures aimed at the collectors interested in the horror genre. Therefore, every piece has been shaped explicitly and with a wealth of details showing the most terrible actions that can carry out those who come to the limit to commit capital vices.
The agreements reached with SD Distribuciones and Dark Horse ensure the international distribution of this first series of Geek Toys's figures on the European and American markets, respectively.
"Geek Toys is born with a series in which we have bet for the quality and from a creative and very elaborated concept. Nowadays, we are employed at the last details of the second series based on the Seven Deadly Sins and have five more projects on the go, some of them very surprising", said Antonio Barranco, President of Geek Toys.
Geek Toys also has released its web site (www.geektoyscollectibles.com), where anyone interested will be able to obtain more information about the company and its creations. "Seven Deadly Sins" Series 1 will go on sale next Christmas.
“Seven Deadly Sins” Series 1
The figure that opens the Series 1 of the collection "Seven Deadly Sins" of Geek Toys, the Envy, consists of the insane desire for having something that other one possesses across the representation of Cain, son of Adam and Eve, after murdering Abel. The warrior looks threatening with his great axe showing the head beheaded of his minor brother without signs of regret.
The original sin of Pride, the one committed by Lucifer wanting to be like God, has inspired the sculptor a figure that shows a beautiful miss to whom the gift of her beauty has led to despise absolutely the others. This blemish has been revealed in the destruction of her adored mirror and of her own eyes.
Geek Toys has personified the Wrath, "the uncontrolled feelings of revenge and anger", in a figure that in the first tests has called the attention of the fans and the professionals of the sector. The Wrath leads the human beings to commit violent and incomprehensible acts, but this scene turns surrealistic when is led by a sweet girl who murders a friend with a heavy book of fairy-tales.
This series is completed by an impeccably-produced figure based on the sin of the Gluttony, of bigger size and with a luxury packaging for a glutton to whom the “excessive desire for food" has led to reducing the universe to himself and to the ingestion of everything around him. |
